Dragon Sphere is a medium underground map measuring 72 by 72 tiles, played on Normal difficulty in the In the Wake of Gods version. It supports four players, with up to two controlled by humans, while the Tan and Green colors are handled by the computer. There are no teams. Red plays Rampart, Blue plays Tower, and both Tan and Green play Dungeon. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. According to the description, a dragon lord will back whoever either finds the Sphere of Strength or eliminates the other lords in the realm. Rock and dirt cover most of the terrain, with nine towns, 26 mines, and wandering dragons. The Grail is placed on the map, along with the Sphere of Permanence and the Crown of Dragontooth.
