Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Diversity is an extra large surface map of 144 by 144 tiles for four players, with three seats open to humans and the Tan player controlled only by the computer. There are no fixed teams. Castle, Stronghold, Tower, and Inferno each hold a color, and the difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Most of the land is grass, snow, dirt, and swamp, with very little water. The map holds 18 towns, 79 mines, 12 seer huts, and 17 creature banks, plus 168 random artifacts and placed items such as Boots of Speed and Cape of Velocity. Large numbers of Royal Griffins roam the land. The author presents the map as something to admire and invites players to look it over.
