Continuation of the Story is a large underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III, played on Impossible difficulty and built for the In the Wake of Gods version. Its description explains that the hero Kiringholm narrowly beat a devil without destroying it, and new dangers and fierce battles now lie ahead. The 108 by 108 map supports three players, with only one human player allowed, while Blue and Purple are computer-controlled. There are no teams. Red plays Castle, Blue plays Castle and Necropolis, and Purple plays Tower, Necropolis and Stronghold. Victory requires capturing one specific town, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 44 percent of the land, with grass, water and rough ground making up much of the rest. Seven towns, 59 quest guards and artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade await. Hero level is capped at 11.
