Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Last Hour on the Throne is an extra large underground map for three players split into two teams. Only one seat can be human, while Red and Green are computer-controlled. Set in Erathia as the people lose faith in their king, it casts the player as the one who must bring that reign to its end. Red plays Castle and Rampart, Tan plays Stronghold, and Green plays Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The 144 by 144 terrain is about half rock, with water covering roughly a fifth and swamp and grass making up the rest. Expect 22 towns, 68 mines, 26 creature banks, and 10 monoliths and portals, plus placed artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade and wandering Vampire Lords. The difficulty is Normal.
