Victory means defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Water and rock cover most of the land, with some subterranean ground. Twelve towns, six starting heroes, a Grail and eighteen monoliths and portals are placed among many mines and creature banks. The author's verse describes monkeys on a Bahamas-style island where everyone wants to conquer the rest, though the island is inhabited.
