The Liberator is an extra large Hard map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, with an underground level, for In the Wake of Gods. Its story casts a mountain people as swift, ruthless raiders bent on ruling the world, while a legend tells of two young women racing to free it, though only one can succeed. Eight players share the map, with one human player at most and seven computer-controlled colors grouped into five teams. Factions include Tower, Stronghold, Fortress, Inferno, Necropolis, Dungeon and Castle. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and losing a specific hero ends the game. Rock covers about 43 percent of the terrain and water 18 percent. Nineteen towns, 92 mines, 24 creature banks, 14 monoliths and portals, and the Grail are scattered across the land.
