Oceania is an extra large underground map for In the Wake of Gods, measuring 144 by 144 tiles. Water covers about 68 percent of its surface, and grass makes up roughly 20 percent. Eight players compete, with up to seven controlled by humans. The Pink player is computer-only and plays Inferno, while the other seven colors start with random factions. There are no teams, and the difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The map contains 35 towns, and notable placed artifacts include Armageddon's Blade, the Helm of Chaos, and the Orb of the Firmament. Dwellings offer creatures such as Behemoths and Black Knights, and wandering Phoenixes and Black Dragons roam the land.
