New Trail of Heroes! is an Extra Large 144x144 map with an underground level, set for the Impossible difficulty and built for Heroes 3.5 with ERM scripting. It is a single-player map for one human, who plays the Tower faction in the Red colour, with no teams and no computer-only colours. The story says the Holy Grail has gone missing and must be found and returned to the Holy City. Victory comes from building a Grail structure, and the game is lost when all towns and heroes are gone. Water covers about a quarter of the land, with rock, sand and snow making up much of the rest. The map holds seven towns, four starting heroes, 39 mines, 40 monoliths and portals, and 48 quest guards, with roaming Giants, Phoenixes and Rocs across the terrain.
