Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Unknown Land is a Hard map for eight human players in five teams, set on a medium 72 by 72 grid with an underground level. Each color starts with a different faction, from Inferno and Castle to Tower, and the game version is In the Wake of Gods. The author's description says renowned heroes travel far to contest a paradise-like corner, then dig in and fight their final battle. Water covers 38 percent of the terrain, while subterranean, grass, and lava make up 14, 14, and 9 percent. Players will find 57 mines, 21 creature banks, 6 monoliths and portals, and the Grail among 47 random artifacts. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
