Forest Song is a medium 72 by 72 map for In the Wake of Gods, with an underground level and a landscape of mostly grass and rock, plus some dirt and a small share of water. Four players are placed, but only two can be human. Blue and Tan are computer-only, and there are no teams. The factions are Rampart, Conflux, Dungeon, and Necropolis, and the difficulty is set to Impossible. A player wins by capturing one specific town and loses if the 84-day limit runs out. The map contains eight towns, thirty mines, nineteen monoliths and portals, six creature banks, and ten wandering Minotaur stacks, along with several placed artifacts. The author's note argues that if diamond and gold fevers can exist, a forest-themed one can too.
