The Witch's Cauldron is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for In the Wake of Gods, played on Impossible difficulty. A volcano that has slept for centuries wakes near your castle and threatens to burn it and ruin your lands. To stop it, you must destroy the witch and extinguish the fire beneath her cauldron. Seven players share the map, up to four of them human, with three colors computer-only, grouped into six teams. Each player uses a different faction, from Tower and Dungeon to Inferno and Fortress. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and a player is defeated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 38 percent of the terrain, with grass, dirt and water making up much of the rest. Notable features include a full set of Legion armor pieces, 65 mines, 34 creature banks and several dragons roaming the map.
