Expulsion of the Devil is an Extra Large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Heroes of Might and Magic III: In the Wake of Gods, rated Impossible. It supports six players, with at most one human seat and the other five colors controlled by the computer, split into two teams. Red, Blue, and Pink play Inferno, Blue also has Castle, and Tan, Green, and Teal play Castle. Nearly all the ground is rock, with the remainder dirt and no water. Victory requires flagging all mines, and the loss condition is the failure of one specific hero. The map contains 12 towns, 14 creature banks, 26 monoliths and portals, and 3 seer huts, plus many wandering Angels and Archangels. Five artifacts are placed, including the Sword of Hellfire. The author warns that the map will not suit anyone who enjoys easy defeats, and describes its storyline as unusual.
