Land of Lost Magic is a medium underground map of 72 by 72 tiles for In the Wake of Gods, set at Impossible difficulty. Five players share the map, with up to two of them human, and three teams are formed. The other three colors are computer controlled, and every faction is assigned randomly. Rock covers about 40 percent of the land, water about a quarter, with smaller stretches of rough ground and lava. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero. The description suggests that the art of old magic has been forgotten, yet ancient scrolls can still be found here. Notable finds include the Grail, the Spirit of Oppression, and the Pendant of Second Sight, and dragons guard some of the dwellings.
