Battle for Centarius is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for In the Wake of Gods, with an underground level and Normal difficulty. Six factions are set up: Inferno, Necropolis, Castle, Fortress, Tower, and Conflux. The Conflux player is computer-controlled, so up to five humans can play, and there are no fixed teams. Lava and water cover most of the terrain. Victory comes from capturing a specific town, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 36 towns, 13 heroes, the Grail, and the Crown of the Supreme Magi. The author describes a struggle over an ancient shrine.
