魔戒 — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This Extra Large map, titled The One Ring, is built around a ring that could give its holder power over the world, and the effort to carry it to the volcanic range where it was forged so it can be destroyed before the dark lord seizes it. The 144 by 144 map has an underground level and an Expert rating. Eight players can take part, but only one seat is human, and two teams compete. Factions include Castle, Inferno, Tower, Stronghold, Dungeon and Rampart. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Terrain is mostly grass, with rock, swamp, snow and a little water. Notable features include 25 towns, 35 mines, the Grail, and wandering monsters such as Azure Dragons and Harpy Hags.
