Each colour begins with a different faction, from Castle and Inferno to Dungeon and Fortress. Its premise is that creatures once lived in peace around a single idol until a sorcerer shattered it, and the player must subdue the creatures and defeat the necromancer. Water covers about 39 percent of the terrain. Highlights include 48 towns, 143 mines, and the Helm of the Alabaster Unicorn. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses upon losing all towns and heroes.
