Cursed Heritage is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles, set on an archipelago that covers much of the known world. According to the description, dragons once ruled these lands until mages used a mysterious power to overthrow the Sky and Flame lords, and now the island rulers are preparing for a new war. Up to eight players can all be human, with no teams and random factions for each color. Victory requires capturing one specific town, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock and water cover most of the terrain. The 30 towns are surrounded by wandering dragons and undead, 58 mines, 40 creature banks, and 37 random artifacts, including Armageddon's Blade and Cards of Prophecy. The difficulty is set to Expert.
