Treasure Island is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, built for eight players who can all be human, with no teams. Its premise is the daydream of landing on a deserted island and finding real treasure, and the description invites players to adopt a pirate's mindset and outlast their rivals. Water covers a quarter of the map, with rock, rough ground, and grass making up most of the rest. The eight factions are Castle, Stronghold, Rampart, Inferno, Necropolis, Dungeon, and two Tower players. Difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory comes from building a Grail structure, and a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 21 towns, 94 mines, 19 creature banks, and the Grail, along with wandering monsters including a Titan and several dragons.
