Up to seven human players can compete against one computer-only Inferno player in pink, with no teams and random factions for the others. The goal is to capture the Brimstone devil castle, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The map has 35 towns and many islands linked by 76 monoliths and portals. Wandering monsters include phoenixes and black dragons, and artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade and the Helm of Chaos are placed around the map. Its creators recommend the Impossible difficulty.
