Conversion is an extra large underground map for Shadow of Death on Normal difficulty, spanning 144 by 144 tiles. Eight colors share the board, with one human seat in Blue and the other seven run by the computer. No teams are set. Blue, Red, and Purple play Castle, Tan plays Stronghold, Green and Orange play Rampart, Teal plays Dungeon, and Pink plays Conflux. The author's note casts the player as someone sent to win over unbelievers, and the title points to the same idea. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and losing a specific hero ends the game. Rock covers about 35 percent of the ground, water 22 percent, grass 19 percent, and rough terrain 5 percent. The map holds 17 towns, 99 mines, 21 monoliths and portals, and artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the Cape of Conjuring.
