Oazis Zhizni is a medium-sized, single-level map of 72 by 72 tiles for four players, all of whom can be human, with no teams. Its terrain is mostly sand, with rough ground and about 8 percent water. Each player starts with a random faction. The description tells of desert clans fighting over a great oasis, until a sorcerer named Gaudr offers it to whoever brings him the Armor of the Damned. Victory requires transporting that specific artifact to the sorcerer, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds five towns, 31 mines, and 40 random monster stacks, along with wandering Naga, Black Dragons, Stone Gargoyles and other creatures. It also contains a Nomad dwelling, several monoliths and portals, and fourteen named artifacts.
