Revenge of Krissa is an Extra Large underground map for Shadow of Death, set on a 144 by 144 grid and rated Expert. Its story follows Krissa, who seeks vengeance against a former lover who betrayed her, and she is portrayed as relentless. Two players are set, with one human slot and Red reserved for the computer. There are no teams, and both factions are random. Rock covers about half the map, water about a quarter, and rough ground a smaller share. Each side begins with ten towns and four heroes, and the map holds 94 random monster stacks, a Grail, and several placed artifacts such as the Crest of Valor and the Crown of the Supreme Magi. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Mines, creature banks, and monoliths and portals are scattered across the terrain.
