Магическая страна is a small 36x36 Heroes III map for Shadow of Death with an underground level, set on a board that is mostly grass and rock. The author's note frames it as a hero who fears nothing, sent to save a world overrun by undead, and caps the hero at level 30. Two players are placed, Red as Conflux and a computer-only Purple as Necropolis, with one human player allowed and no teams. The difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and losing a specific hero ends the game. Scattered across the map are three towns, seven heroes, two mines, eleven seer huts, twelve quest guards, and eighteen monoliths and portals. Wandering stacks include several Ghost Dragons and Rogues, while dwellings offer Green Dragons, Black Knights, Enchanters and Sharpshooters. Placed artifacts include the Endless Sack of Gold and several boots and necklaces.
