Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Forest Revenge is an Extra Large surface map of 144 by 144 tiles for Shadow of Death, set on the Impossible difficulty. Its story follows a knight who has been granted a new castle in a distant land, only for a treacherous wizard to steal one of the fortress's key relics, the Angelic Alliance. The map supports eight players, with one human player at most and seven computer-controlled colors, arranged into four teams. Factions include Fortress, Tower, Stronghold, Rampart, and Necropolis. Victory requires acquiring the Angelic Alliance, and a player loses if a specific hero falls. The landscape is mostly dirt, grass, swamp, and lava, with a little water. Players will find 34 towns, 101 mines, the Grail, 14 creature banks, and 9 seer huts, along with many artifacts.
