Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Ring of Lies is an Expert-level map for Shadow of Death, set on an extra large 144 by 144 grid with an underground level. The author's description portrays a peaceful world where angels, devils, mages and necromancers lived together until elements appeared and upset that harmony. Five colors are placed, but only three can be human players, since Red and Orange are computer-only, and the sides form two teams. The factions in play are Tower, Inferno, Necropolis, Castle and Conflux. Rock and grass cover most of the terrain, with a little water. The map holds 11 towns, 64 mines, 11 creature banks, 12 monoliths and portals, and two Azure Dragon stacks wandering the land. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero.
