Drop of Blood is a large Shadow of Death map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, with an underground level, set in the world of Etheria. Its description presents a resource-rich land full of danger, where the player guides Sir Vorton toward ending a bloody war and claiming his place in the world. Eight players share the map, but only one can be human, and the other seven are computer-controlled. No teams are used, and the factions include Inferno, Dungeon, Rampart, Necropolis, Castle, Fortress, and Conflux. Difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and losing a specific hero ends the game. Notable finds include the Inexhaustible Cart of Ore, the Orb of Driving Rain, and the Orb of Tempestuous Fire, while Ghost Dragons and Red Dragons roam the land.
