Evil Dead: Army of Darkness is a large Shadow of Death scenario on a 108 by 108 map with an underground level, set at Expert difficulty and based on the film. Five players share the map, up to four of them human, and the players form three teams. Necropolis and Castle are the factions in play, and the red player is computer-only. The story branches, so you can take any side except the Army of Darkness, each with its own events, and the author recommends starting with the Campbell side. Lava covers about 42 percent of the terrain. The map holds nine towns, eleven heroes, 33 mines, 19 seer huts, and dwellings with creatures such as Liches and Bone Dragons. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and you lose by losing all your towns and heroes.
