Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

"Another World" is an Extra Large 144x144 underground map for Shadow of Death, set at Normal difficulty. It supports eight players, with up to four controlled by humans and the other four computer-only, and no fixed teams. The factions are Dungeon, Castle, Rampart, Tower, Conflux, Inferno (used by two players), and Necropolis. Lava covers about 37 percent of the terrain, with grass, water, and rock making up most of the rest. The map holds 26 towns and 20 starting heroes, and wandering Gold Dragons are the most common roaming stacks. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Other features include 120 mines, 35 monoliths and portals, and 77 creature banks.
