Two Underground Kings is a small 36 by 36 subterranean map for Shadow of Death, set on Expert difficulty. Eight players take part, but only four can be human; the other four colors are computer-controlled. No teams are used. The factions are Castle, Tower, Stronghold, Rampart, Inferno, Dungeon, Fortress and Necropolis. Lava, subterranean ground, swamp and rough terrain make up most of the surface. Ten towns, eight heroes and thirty mines are spread across the level, alongside sixty-three random monster stacks and five Azure Dragon stacks. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The author suggests starting at 200 percent difficulty.
