Восхождение Неба — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Ascent of the Sky is a medium 72 by 72 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and Impossible difficulty. According to the author's note, the hero has lost a battle but not the war, and forces are gathering to the north while the king waits for news. One human player controls the Rampart town in red against four computer-controlled opponents in blue, tan, green and orange, who play Fortress, Dungeon, Stronghold and Inferno. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and the player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock and snow cover most of the terrain, with swamps and water. Highlights include the Grail, 41 mines, 16 monoliths and portals, a Wizard's Well, and seven stacks of Black Dragons roaming the map.
