"War Not Peace" is an Extra Large 144 by 144 Shadow of Death map with an underground level, rated Expert. Six players, all of whom can be human, split into two teams and play Castle, Tower, Rampart, Fortress, Stronghold, and Conflux. The story centers on a Barbarian King and his voivode attacking Avalon, and the setting pits an Avalon alliance against Lerrion's armies, leaving players to choose a side. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 48 percent of the terrain, with water at 14 percent, grass at 14 percent, and rough ground at 6 percent. The map holds 20 towns, 7 starting heroes, and wandering dragons, including Crystal, Rust, and Black types. Players will also find 80 mines, 20 monoliths and portals, and placed artifacts such as Titan's Thunder and the Angelic Alliance.
