This extra large 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death is played entirely on the surface, with no underground level. Eight players share it, with up to two human participants and four teams. The description speaks of a major battle against an alliance of evil. Blue, Tan, Orange, Purple, Teal and Pink are computer-controlled, while Red and Green start with random towns. The factions in play include Stronghold, Dungeon, Rampart, Necropolis, Conflux, Inferno and Tower. Terrain is mostly grass, with swamp, dirt and snow, and there is no water.
