Big Bo is a Hard underground map of 72 by 72 tiles for four players, though only one seat is human. The story casts a barbarian named Big Bo against devils who have issued an ultimatum. Red plays Stronghold, while the computer controls Tan and Purple, who both fight with Inferno, and Orange, which combines Inferno with Necropolis. The game is set up for two teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Rock covers about 40 percent of the land and lava about a third, with sand, rough ground and a little water. The map holds seven towns and eleven heroes, with wandering familiars, skeletons and fire elementals, along with dwellings, mines, seer huts and artifacts such as the Ring of Vitality and the Red Dragon Flame Tongue.
