Аргобан — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Argoban is an Extra Large Shadow of Death map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, with an underground level and Normal difficulty. The king has died, and the realm must be defended against neighboring rulers who want the throne. Five players take part, with one human seat and four computer-controlled colors, split into two teams. The factions are Rampart, Conflux, Castle, Stronghold, and Fortress. Rock covers about half the map, with grass, rough ground, and water making up most of the rest. The map holds 25 towns, 17 heroes, 118 mines, and the Grail, along with wandering Crystal Dragons, Rust Dragons, and Phoenixes, plus artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and the game is lost if the 49-day time limit runs out.
