Precipitation is a small Armageddon's Blade map of 36 by 36 tiles with an underground level, set on Hard difficulty. Four players, all of whom can be human, compete without teams, playing the Inferno, Tower, Stronghold and Castle factions. The author describes a necromancer living in a region of contradictory climate, which four lords want to claim by eliminating rivals and subduing the underground lords. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Rock covers about a third of the terrain, with subterranean, lava and grass areas making up most of the rest. Notable finds include the Grail, a Red Dragon dwelling, several wandering Gold Golems and the Shield of the Dwarven Lords, alongside seven towns and eleven mines.
