The story is about a dying king who sets a contest: whoever first raises a Grail building in the capital, Osha, will inherit the throne. Orange and Purple start with random factions, and there are no teams. Victory requires constructing that Grail structure, and a player is defeated after losing every town and hero. Rough ground covers just over half the map, with water, sand and lava making up much of the rest. Wandering forces include a Magog, a Cyclops King, a Royal Griffin, a Champion, and Diamond and Gold Golems, while the Endless Sack of Gold, Equestrian's Gloves and Pendant of Negativity are placed on the map.
