"Uprising" is a large underground map for Armageddon's Blade, measuring 108 by 108 tiles, and it is set on a hard difficulty. Four players can all be human, split into three teams, with Castle, Tower, Stronghold, and Rampart factions in play. The author describes an underground realm seized by orcs centuries ago and a divided empire in civil war that gives gnomes and mages a chance to fight back. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about a third of the terrain, with dirt, grass, and rough ground making up most of the rest, and water covers about eleven percent. The map holds 36 towns, 142 mines, and 12 monoliths and portals, plus wandering Cyclops Kings and Master Genies. Notable artifacts include the Crown of Dragontooth and Dragon Scale Armor.
