Water covers about 73 percent of it, with rough ground and grass making up the rest. Five players take part, up to three of them human, and the Blue and Orange colors are computer-only. Players form four teams and may field Castle, Rampart, Fortress, Tower, or Stronghold. Some players aim to seize as much as they can, while others focus on holding what is theirs. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map contains the Grail, several placed artifacts such as the Sword of Hellfire and Dragon Scale Armor, plus mines, dwellings, and wandering monsters. The author says that finding the ancient treasure will help the player who uncovers it.
