Great Wars (Allies) is a Hard map for Armageddon's Blade, set on an extra large 144 by 144 grid with an underground level. Eight players, all of whom can be human, lead eight factions (Dungeon, Tower, Fortress, Necropolis, Inferno, Rampart, Stronghold, and Castle) grouped into four teams. The author describes eight realms that have long fought one another, whose kings died in a final battle, leaving young heirs to rebuild. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when they have no towns or heroes left. The map has 17 towns, 68 mines, and 9 seer huts, and rock covers about a third of the terrain. Notable finds include the Boots of Speed and the Shackles of War, and dragons and titans roam as wandering monsters.
