"Four Schools of Magic" is an Extra Large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, played at Normal difficulty. Five players share it, up to four of them human, with Purple left to the computer and no fixed teams. Factions in play include Tower, Fortress, Rampart, Stronghold, Inferno, and Castle. The story concerns the heads of four magic schools who fled to nearby lands after a dark ruler seized power. They are now at odds, and the aim is to reunite them and defeat that ruler. Victory means eliminating all enemies, while losing every town and hero ends a player's game. Rock covers about 47 percent of the terrain, with water, lava, and swamp making up much of the rest. Expect 15 towns, 77 mines, the Grail, and placed artifacts such as the Sword of Hellfire.
