Treasures of the Serpent is an extra large underground map for Restoration of Erathia, played on a 144 by 144 board where rock covers nearly half the ground and water about a fifth. The author describes a kingdom once ruled by dragons and asks whether they might rise to power again. Seven players take part, with up to two human players and five computer-only colors, and there are no teams. The factions are Tower, Rampart, Fortress, Stronghold and Inferno, with Tower and Rampart each appearing twice. Difficulty is Hard. Victory comes from accumulating creatures, with a target of 25, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 11 towns, 14 creature banks, 19 monoliths and portals, and a Breastplate of Brimstone, along with wandering stacks that include Earth Elementals and Green Dragons.
