Freedom of Action is a large underground map for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and each color fielding a different faction, from Castle to Necropolis. Set in the Restoration of Erathia, it is rated hard. The author's description depicts lands once shaped by ancient beings, now divided among tribes and held apart only by mountains that keep a bloody war in check. Rock covers about 45 percent of the 108 by 108 tiles, with grass and water making up much of the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The map contains 16 towns, 98 random monster stacks, 64 random artifacts, 87 mines, six creature banks, two monoliths and portals, and eight timed events.
