Feat of Theseus is a large underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III, measuring 108 by 108 and built for the Restoration of Erathia version. Its description hints that the challenge is harder than it first appears and that Ariadne plays a key role. Eight players can take part, with up to six human seats, and the other two colors, Tan and Purple, are computer-only. There are no teams. The factions are Stronghold, Tower, Dungeon, Rampart, Castle, Necropolis, Inferno and Fortress. Victory requires defeating one specific hero, and the game is lost if the 336-day limit expires. Water covers about 27 percent of the map, with rock and subterranean ground making up much of the rest. Players will encounter many wandering Minotaurs, several Golems, a Chaos Hydra, and a Grail placed on the map.
