Lair of Quests is a medium 72x72 underground map for up to four human players, with a fifth colour, Orange, controlled by the computer. There are no teams. Red plays Castle, Blue plays Tower, Tan plays Fortress, Green plays Rampart, and Orange plays Inferno. The map is rated easy. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact to a dungeon town, and players lose by losing all their towns and heroes. Rock covers about 29% of the map, water about 26%, and subterranean terrain about 15%. Notable features include the Grail, the Pendant of Negativity, the Shackles of War, four elemental tomes, and 35 mines. Gold and Diamond Golem stacks roam the map in large numbers. The author's description also says that completing every quest is required.
