Red, Blue, Orange, and Purple all play Castle, while Green gets a random faction. The story follows the ranger Monty, who has retreated beneath the surface of Erathia, and players must track him down. Terrain is mostly rock and grass, with about a fifth water and a fifth subterranean ground. The map holds 13 towns, 9 heroes, 136 wandering monster stacks, 56 mines, 4 seer huts, and 10 monoliths or portals, plus the Bird of Perception and the Blackshard of the Dead Knight. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero.
