Battle of the Dragon is a medium 72 by 72 map for two players, both human, and includes an underground level. Green plays Rampart and Orange plays Dungeon, with no teams. The backstory casts the two players as rival suitors seeking the hand of a king's daughter, and only one of them can succeed. The game uses normal difficulty. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. About a quarter of the land is rock and a fifth is water, with subterranean and grass areas. The map holds 16 towns, two starting heroes, and 113 wandering monster stacks, plus dwellings for centaurs, wood elves, dragons, and troglodytes. Notable finds include four named artifacts, seven random artifacts, 58 mines, and six monoliths or portals.
