Alliance of Good is an expert-difficulty map for eight players on an extra large 144 by 144 field, with an underground level. Up to four humans can take part, and the other four colors are computer-controlled. Players form two teams and command Castle, Rampart, Dungeon, Necropolis, Fortress, Stronghold, Inferno, or Tower towns. The author describes humans, mages, and elves uniting after years of silence to face evil and restore a former glory. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The terrain is mostly grass and rock, with subterranean and lava areas and a little water. The map holds thirty towns, sixty-three mines, and the Grail, along with several Legion artifacts and wandering Troglodytes and Imps.
