This underground map, whose Russian title translates roughly as "The Advocate and the Defendant," gives the player the role of royal advocate, governing the realm while the Empress is abroad. Word arrives that she has been captured, and the task becomes freeing her. The 108 by 108 map supports four colored players, with up to three controlled by humans and the orange side computer-only. There are no teams. Necropolis, Inferno, Tower, and Rampart are the factions in play. Victory requires building a Grail structure, and defeat follows the loss of all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 39 percent of the land, water 23 percent, and lava 10 percent. Nine towns, 38 mines, and 57 random artifacts are spread across the terrain, along with placed relics such as the Pendant of Death and the Cards of Prophecy.
