Lucky Fate SoD — SoD

Lucky Fate SoD is an Extra Large 144x144 Shadow of Death map with an underground level, rated for Impossible difficulty. Eight players can all be human, with no teams and random factions for every color. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when all towns and heroes are gone. Water covers about 34 percent of the map, with rock, subterranean ground, and sand making up most of the rest. The 19 towns are supported by 194 random artifacts, 57 creature banks, and 54 monoliths and portals. Wandering monsters include pairs of Azure, Crystal, and Faerie Dragons, and the dwellings offer strong creatures such as Behemoths, Hydras, and Bone Dragons. The author warns that artifacts may be hidden and advises paying attention to signs on the map.
