Lords of Havoc is a medium underground map for eight players, each controlling one of the eight standard towns, with no teams and no computer-only colors, so all eight seats may be human. It is rated hard and plays in the Shadow of Death version. The author describes eight colleagues who founded a nation and must now settle who will rule it. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about a third of the terrain, with subterranean ground and water making up much of the rest. Wandering undead such as Wraiths and Vampires roam the map, and placed artifacts include the Crest of Valor and the Shield of the Yawning Dead.
